Alan Strube

Alan Thomas Strube, of Watertown, age 70, was born to eternity on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He was the son of Alice and Donald Strube, born in Milwaukee, WI, on May 15, 1948. Alan enlisted in the army during during the Vietnam War and served in the 101st Airborne Division as a paratrooper. He was awarded a purple heart. After his military service he worked with his parents at their family business, Red Apple Antiques in Watertown, WI . Alan treasured dogs throughout life and loved nature's creatures, big and small. He was kind, loving, caring and always there to help out family. He will be greatly missed. Alan is survived by his son Thomas Strube, sisters and brothers; Dennis (Marcia) Strube, Karen (Joe) Chadwick, Janet (Mark Lukas) Strube, Barb (Dan) Sterwald, Mark Strube, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt and uncle and friends. He was preceded in death by parents and brother, David Strube. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018, 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M., with a Memorial Service immediately following at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
