Betty Bruhn

BRUHN,  BETTY  JO Betty Jo Bruhn, age 62, passed away on Friday November 25, 2016, at her home. Betty Jo Wakely was born on December 2, 1953 in Harvard, Illinois, the daughter of Milo and Dorothy (Slagle) Wakeley. She attended Watertown High School and had been employed at The Golden Living Center for many years. Betty Jo was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Betty Jo was an avid Chicago Bears fan and a long time member of the Aerosmith Fan Club. She treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and was a cat lover. Betty Jo was a very giving and generous person, she was always there to give of her time to help friends and family. Betty Jo is survived by her grandchildren Aeden and Anthony Bruhn, her sister Cynthia (Darrel) Zerbe, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her son Chad Bruhn, her parents and step mother Marian Wakeley. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Rev. Elizabeth Tester officiating. The service will be followed by a gathering and luncheon in the church's Guild Hall.
