Diane J. Regent

Diane J. Regent, 60, of Watertown, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Auroa Summit Medical Center.

Diane was born on March 15, 1965, in Chicago, the daughter of Joe and Violet (Westerguard) Hamlin. She married Ryan Regent on August 27, 2016, and the couple enjoyed 9 years of marriage. Diane was a wonderful, helpful lady in the community, volunteering with community laundry for 8 years, was the head cook with Meal of Hope, worked with and cared for many homeless individuals, and hosted karaoke for many years. In her free time, she was a talented florist and was an exceptional artist especially with her drawings. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Diane is survived by her husband Ryan, son Grayson, grandchildren Breanna, Japeth, and Paul, sister Shelley (Tim) Kassube, niece Shanna (Phillip) Runge, nephew Christopher Hamilin, 6 great-nephews, and 1 great-niece. She is also survived by a number of other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Racheal.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Prigge presiding. Visitation will take place at the church from 1:00pm until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown.
