Donna Hellenbrand

Sun Prairie/Marshall - Donna Jean Hellenbrand, age 73, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on September 28, 2016 at her home in Sun Prairie. Donna was born on April 7, 1943, in Madison, WI, the daughter of John (Frances) Bartosch. Donna married Herbert Hellenbrand Sr. on June 23, 1962 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sun Prairie. Herbert preceded Donna in death on October 15, 2007. Donna worked for many years at Perry Printing before her retirement. She later went to work at Jim's Cheese in Waterloo. Donna was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church since moving to Marshall with her family in 1976. Donna was an Elvis fan and was known by her close family and friends as a "cleaning fanatic". But most of all, Donna enjoyed doing lunch and activities with her friends at Angel Park Apartments and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Donna is survived by her 4 children, Lisa (Doug) Haag of Waunakee, Kim (Dan) Timpel of Marshall, Brian Hellenbrand of Marshall, Gregory Hellenbrand of Marshall; 10 grandchildren, Quintin, Natasha, Jordan, Tiffany, Gustav, Maxwell, Autumn, Zoye, Ava and Maddox and one brother, Steve Bartosch of Deforest. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances Bartosch, her husband Herbert Hellenbrand Sr., their son, Herbert Hellenbrand Jr. and a sister, Mary Vaughan. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family in her memory. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 120 S. Beebe St. Marshall on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will also be held at Holy Family on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass. Fr. Jorge Miramontes will celebrate. Burial will conclude at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.
