Frederick Fendt

Frederick J. Fendt, 83 of Watertown passed away peacefully at Marquardt Memorial Manor on June 22, 2019. Frederick was born on August 12, 1935 in Watertown, son of Frederick E. and Genevieve (Hrobsky) Fendt. Frederick was a Tool and Die machinist for Sentry Equipment for 30+ years. Frederick then continued his passion for working with small engines, working on them for Farm & Fleet in Watertown. Frederick was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Watertown and was a member of the National Guard. Above all things, Frederick was devoted to providing for his family. Frederick is survived by two daughters, Barbara Fendt; Rose (Scott) Triplett and two sons, Thomas (Shari) Fendt and Anthony (Michelle) Fendt. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Stephanie Fendt (Fiancé - Dan); Lizzy (Zach) Henze; Crystal (Brian) Shalliol; Heather (Tyler) Barker, Carrie Triplett (Fiancé -Korey); ;Tim (Karissa) Fendt Cori Fendt (Significant Other Ian); Tyler Triplett; Karisa Fendt and Nick Fendt; 7 Great grandchildren, Angel; Benjamin; Allie; Koen; Oliver; Ovaya and Olivia. Frederick is survived by two brothers Don (Maxine); Paul (Diane) and four sisters, Gerry (Ozzie) Beal; Helen (John) Duffek; Judy Kuehn; Jean (Fred) Roethle. Frederick was proceeded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia Dawalt and brother-in-law Dave Dawalt, Donald (Red) Kuehn. Visitation will take place at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. A Memorial Service will take place immediately following the visitation with Parochial Vicar Father Miroslaw Szynal officiating. Burial will occur later. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Watertown Regional Medical Center, Marquardt Memorial Manor, Marquardt Hospice and all the other professionals who assisted in Frederick's care.
