Frieda Hughes

HUGHES,  FRIEDA WATERTOWN     Frieda Hughes, age 87, passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2016 at Sunset Ridge Assisted Living in Johnson Creek .Frieda Nieman was born on August 26, 1928 in Ohio, the daughter of Martha Nieman. She married Thomas Hughes on February 14, 1962 and he preceded her in death. Frieda was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and had volunteered as a foster grandparent at Bethesda Lutheran Home. Frieda is the beloved mother of Debra Hughes, Laurie Herold, Scott (LuAnne) Hughes and Mark Hughes, she was the loving grandmother of Michael, Nicholas, Melissa, Patrick, Jessica, Lucas and Thomas and the adoring great grandmother of Melanie and Felicity. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her son Earle Hughes, her parents and three sisters. A graveside service will on Friday July 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at LaBelle Cemetery in Oconomowoc.
