Genevieve Stein

STEIN,  GENEVIEVE  V. Genevieve V. Stein, age 95 of Watertown, passed away on Thursday December 29, 2016 at Marquardt Health Care. Genevieve Veronica Schramka, was born on April 14, 1921 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Roman and Helen (Nawrocki) Schramka. In 1941 she married William Stein and he preceded her in death in 1976. Genevieve had been employed by the former Rosenberg's Clothing Store and Field's Clothing Store, both in Milwaukee. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Genevieve liked to play Solitaire, the color blue, cardinals, watching Animal Planet, Golden Girls and Everybody Loves Raymond. Her favorite activities were fishing in Minocqua, sewing, making flower arrangements and making her famous pine cone Christmas Trees. She had been a widow for almost 41 years, she told everyone her Bill was the best husband anyone could want. She was amazed she lived so long.Genevieve is survived by a daughter Janet Stein, a sister Marion King, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A future family gathering will be held in Genevieve's memory.
