Gerald Nimm

Watertown - Gerald L. Nimm, 90, peacefully entered the Kingdom of God on October 19, 2019 at Rainbow Hospice Care Center, to join his wife, Barbara (nee Werth). Gerry was born on September 29, 1929, the son of Joseph and Adelaide (David) Nimm. Gerry married the love of his life, Barb, on September 25, 1954 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown, and they enjoyed 65 years of marriage. Gerry was a faithful member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown his entire life. In Gerry's free time, he enjoyed trap shooting, gardening, polka dancing with Barb, riding his Harley Davidson, and baking Christmas candy. Gerry was a kind and thoughtful man with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to have known him. Gerry is survived by his brother, Robert Nimm, and his wife, Donna, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Welcoming Gerry to Heaven were his parents, four brothers - George, Lawrence, Francis and Donald, his sister - Anna and his beloved dog, Candy. A special thank you from Gerry's family to his caregivers at Dycora Transitional Health Center and Rainbow Hospice Care Center. Gerry's family will greet friends on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at St. Henry Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Patrick Wendler officiating. Burial will follow the Mass at Glenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials to the charity of your choice in Gerry's memory would be greatly appreciated.
