Jack Grivas, age 80, formerly of Milwaukee passed away on Thurs., May 8, 2014. He preceded in death by parents, John and Margaret (nee Paradowski) Grivas. He is survived by sons, Paul (Pamela) and Christopher Schoneck; longtime companion, Julieann; brother, Dennis (Nancy) Jeager; sister, Wendy Jeager; grandson, Steven Schoneck; niece, Mia Jeager and other family and friends. Jack enlisted in the Air Force in 1951, serving 8 years in several overseas air commands. In 1964, he joined the 440th Air Force reserve unit, and then transferred to the 128th Air National Guard. Jack was selected as the first sergeant of the newly formed Engineering Squadron. He retired in December 1989. His civilian skills included developing systems procedures, marketing plans and sales. He enjoyed helping others and donating as much as he could to charity. He had a variety of interests and hobbies. A memorial gathering at the Marquardt Village Chapel, 1020 Hill St., Watertown, Tues., May 13 from 4-7 pm. Interment at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, on Wed., May 14 at 3 pm.
