KUBE, JACQUELINE J. WATERTOWN Jacqueline J. Kube, age 82, passed away on Sunday February 10, 2013 at Zinzendorf Hall, with her children by her side. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Victor Tegtmeier officiating. Family burial will be in Glenview Memorial Gardens at a later time. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 - 7 PM at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service and on Saturday after 10 AM at the church. Memorials to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Bethel Media Ministry in Madison, Marquardt Village Chapel Fund or the charity of one's choice, would be appreciated. Jacqueline J. Hornickel was born on June 30, 1930 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of John and Marie (Streich) Hornickel. On October 13, 1956 she married John A. Kube at Watertown Moravian Church. He preceded her in death on May 2, 1988. Jackie has lived in Watertown since 1947 and she had been employed as a bookkeeper at the former Wisconsin National Bank in Watertown, She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, AMVETS Auxiliary #35, Watertown Geneology Society and Thrivent Branch # 4579 where she had been the past Secretary/Treasurer. Survivors include her children Kathryn Kube and William Kube, both of Madison, two nieces and their families who helped Jackie in her later years, Ruth (Rodney) Uttech and Millie (Delmar) Gauerke. Jackie is also survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is further preceded in death by her parents. Jackie's children wish to thank the staffs at Watertown Regional Medical Center, Zinzendorf Hall and Marquardt Hospice, for the care they gave Mom in her final days.
