James Paul

Marshall/Sun Prairie - James L. "Jim" Paul, age 71, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Haack's Tender Care in Sun Prairie. He was born on July 29, 1942 in Washington, PA, the son of Daniel and Mary Ann (England) Paul. Jim enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and taking his dog, Tippy on walks. He also was an avid sports fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. He also enjoyed his time spent working at Little Amerrika in Marshall. He is survived by his father, Daniel J. Paul of Downey, CA; sister, Katherine (John "Bill") Schoob of Marshall; half-sister, Patti (Mike) Koesling and their daughter Kati of Hollister, CA; step-siblings, Nancy (Dommie) Johnson of Long Beach, CA and David (Virginia) Abney of Downey, CA; nieces, Barbara (Shawn) Arnold and their children, Beth (Jesse), Kalinda and Dante all of Marshall, Sandi Schoob and her daughter, Morgan both of Denver, CO, Deb Sonnenberg (Al Steele) of Poynette and her children, Skylar of WA and Samantha of Poynette; and Chuck Schoob (Malissa Leonard) and their children, Shelby, Cody, Justin and Gabriella all of Columbus; great-great niece and nephews, Foster, Allison and Skylar, Jr; special cousin, Melinda (Bill) Kelley of PA; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Paul and step-mother Evelyn Paul. A special thank you and appreciation for all the assistance from staff at Agrace Hospice Care and Haack's Tendcare during this trying time. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 10:00 am at the Highland Memorial Gardens Chapel (3054 Hwy. BB, Madison, WI) with a celebration of life luncheon at Noon at the American Legion Hall in Marshall. Memorial donations may be made to the family, Agrace Hospice or to the charity of the donor's choice.
