Jamie John Blaeske

February 10, 1967 — August 31, 2023

Jamie John Blaeske, 56, of Watertown, WI, passed away on August 31, 2023 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on February 10, 1967 to Ronald and Diane (nee Wingert) Blaeske at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Jamie was raised in Waukesha and had mentioned fond childhood memories growing up there.

Jamie graduated from Waukesha South High School in 1985. He worked as a delivery driver for Jimmy's Grotto in his teenage years, at Generac Power Systems as a young adult, and then at Waukesha Motors for over 20 years. Jamie was always described as a rebel and marched to the beat of his own drum. Motorcycles were his passion, and he spent his free time riding them and going wherever the wind took him. He also was well known for his many hands-on skills in life, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In 1996, he met Kathy Miller and her then 3-year-old daughter, Jessica. Jamie and Kathy fell deeply in love and married on March 24th, 2001. They spent 22 wonderful, adventure-filled years together. In November of 2001, he adopted Kathy's daughter, Jessica. The bond Jamie and Jessica shared was indescribable. They were chosen by God to be father and daughter. Their relationship was understood by all who met them and saw the love they shared. His family and his beloved dog, Copper, were his life. Jamie will be missed terribly by all who knew him.

Jamie is survived by his wife, Kathy Blaeske; daughter, Jessica Blaeske; father-in-law and mother-in-law Lucky and Cheryl Lasanske; siblings, Jeff (Denise) Blaeske, and Jodie (Harvey) Secora; nieces and nephews, Kaelie Blaeske (Taylor Ryan), Hunter Secora (Kodie Watson), Mason Secora, and Teagen Secora; best friends Darwin Lamke and Rob Christian; and many other family members and friends.

Jamie was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Diane Blaeske.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Diabetes Association which his daughter, Jessica, started a GoFundMe for. All proceeds will go to this charity. Jamie dealt with Type 1 diabetes the majority of his life.
