Joanne Drolshagen

Watertown - Joanne Drolshagen, age 86, passed away on January 3, 2017, while at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau. Joanne was born on August 30, 1930 in West Allis, the daughter of Erwin and Irene (Murray) Diehl. She later married Donald Drolshagen on May 26,1956. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1998. Joanne was a foster parent for many years and was proud of the children she took care of. She also worked for many years as an apartment manager before her retirement. She enjoyed camping, doing crafts and puzzles and was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church. Joanne especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Joanne is survived by one daughter, Donna (Jeff) Engel of Ixonia; one granddaughter, Jennifer (Josh) Loppnow of Watertown and two great grandchildren, Anthony and Andrew Loppnow of Watertown. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald in 1998, a son, David in 1982, a grandson, Randall in 1983 and 3 brothers and 2 sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial's can be sent to the family. Joanne's last request was that there be no memorial services be held.
