John Siebert

SIEBERT, JR., JOHN MARSHALL John Siebert, age 86, passed away on Saturday July 12, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 21, 1928 in Erie, Minnesota, the son of John, Sr. and Blanche (Ethel) Siebert. On October 11, 1951 he married the former Leona Neitzel in International Falls, Minnesota. John Served in the US Army from 1946 to 1948. He had been a cement worker and he and Leona were the former owners of the Royal Motel in Madison. He was a member of St, Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Marshall. John was an avid Packer and Brewers Fan. He loved to play cards and his daily trips to Quik Trip on his scooter. John is survived by his wife Leona, their children Janice Waldsmith, Sandra (Mark) Smith and Patricia Jones, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren his brothers Joseph and Gerald Siebert, sister Lois Pullar, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Donald, Warren, James, William, Bernard, and Merrill Siebert and sisters Mary Siebert and Beverly Dourgherty. Funeral services will be on Wednesday July 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Schoeneck, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the church
