Jon F. Langer, 86 of Madison / Marshall passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital of Madison, surrounded by family.
Jon was born on June 14, 1939, in Madison, the son of Darrell Sr. and Helen (Theis) Langer.
Jon is survived by his siblings Loras (Thomas) McCarthy, Lynn (Al) Taffel, David (Donna) Langer, Mary Jane Langer (Jerry Draeger), and Gregg (Kari) Langer. Jon is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jon is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Jeannine Langer Fuetz and Darrell Jr. (Caroline) Langer.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the care staff who provided Jon many years of loving care throughout his life. You are all amazing people.
The family is planning a Celebration of Jon's Life this summer.
