MANN, JUNE D. June Deloris Mann, age 89 of Watertown passed away on July 26, 2010 after a brief illness, with her family at her side. Friends and family will gather at the First Congregational Church UCC in Watertown on Friday July 30 for a memorial service with Pastor John Kennedy officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 am and service starting at 11:00. June was born in Keil Wisconsin on August 6, 1920 to Hilda Strassberger and Walter Dittrich. On March 30, 1946 she was united in marriage with Marlyn Mann. Marlyn was the Police Chief in Watertown before his death in March of 1971. June worked in retail at Maloneys Gift shop and later at J.C. Penneys where she later retired from. She enjoyed meeting and visiting with people and loved playing bridge, working in her yard, sewing, and volunteering at St .Vincent de Paul. June was also a long time member of the First Congregational Church UCC. She enjoyed keeping current on all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were amongst her greatest joys in life. Survivors are her three daughters, Shari (Don) Lee of Onalaska, Dobby (Chuck) Englebert of La Crosse, Jean (Mike) Riedl of Oregon. She has five grandchildren Jason (Angie) Lefebvre, Drew (Heidi) Englebert, Paige (Jeremy)Aragon, Ryan (Patty)Riedl , Tim (Molly) Riedl and eight great grandchildren. June was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and her husband. If desired, memorials are requested in lieu of flowers to St. Vincent de Paul, and the Congregational Church UCC, both in Watertown. Mom, we will miss your smiles and gentle way. These memories will sustain us for the road ahead. Youve told us many times, Dont cry for me for Im going to a better place. We will miss you and love you forever.
