Katherine L. Henze

Katherine L. “Kathy” Henze, 71 of Watertown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Park Ridge in Watertown.

Kathy was born on November 13, 1954, in Watertown, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Wuestenberg) Barnes. On October 5, 1974, Kathy was united in marriage with Kenneth “Butch” Henze at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Watertown. Kathy enjoyed spending time outside, especially in her garden. She also loved animals. Above all, family meant the most to Kathy and she treasured time spent with family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her husband Kenneth “Butch” Henze, daughter Autumn Henze, mother Dorothy Schoenfeld, and special cousin Judy. Kathy is further survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

Kathy is preceded in death by her father and brother Michael Barnes.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy’s name to the Waterton Humane Society, Dodge County Humane Society, or a humane society of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
