Kathleen Port

Kathy Port Kathleen Susan Port, 68, formerly of Watertown, died on Tuesday July 9, 2013 at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend. Kathy lived most of her life in Jefferson County where she was cared for by many people, including those at St. Colletta's and Jefferson County Human Services. Most notably, she received loving care from Ray and Yvonne Crum of Johnson Creek, Allyson and Ken Brueckner of Fort Atkinson, and Annette Messmer of Care Wisconsin. Kathy moved to Touchstone House in West Bend in June of 2013. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the caregivers of Kathy over the years. Kathy's special needs did not dampen her enthusiasm for life. McCormick Place in Chicago held a special spot in her heart and she loved her jewelry. Additionally, she always looked forward to Sunday afternoons to cheer on the Green Bay Packers. Kathy was born on January 23, 1945, in Watertown to Kenneth and Emmy Lou (Clifford) Port. She is survived by her sister, Judy Kern (Jack) of West Bend and other members of the extended family. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and sister Barbara Jean Dickenson. There will be a private graveside ceremony at St Bernard's cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the charity of your choice.
