Larry Lee "Butch" Binger, age 77, of Watertown, died September 6, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, WI. Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family. Butch was born on June 16, 1941, in Watertown to Merle and Dorothea (Wolf) Binger. On October 16, 1969 he was united in marriage with Sherry L Wendorf at Christ Lutheran Church in Sharon, WI. He served in the US Army Infantry from 1967-1973 with a year tour in Vietnam earning The National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with three (3) Bronze Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and Combat Infantry Badge. He worked at Crepaco in Lake Mills from 1969 until his retirement in 2000. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and building remote control model airplanes. Butch is survived by hi wife, Sherry, his children Laurie (Aaron) Peirick of Watertown, Brian (Holly) of Champlain, MN and Kevin (Lisa) of Clarksville, TN; a sister, Betty Schmidt of Delevan, WI; grandchildren, Jarod (Cora) and Mikayla Peirick of Watertown, Alisha Molzner of Oregon, Caden Binger of Williams Bay, WI, Kaydence and Gavin Binger of Clarksville, TN and Grayson Binger, Champlain, MN; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Laura Langer in 1979. A memorial service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Watertown on November 23, 2018. Internment at the Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown will be held after the service.
