Leona Siebert

Leona Bertha Siebert age 84 passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Columbus Health and Rehab in Columbus, Wisconsin/ Leona was born on July 8, 1933 in Merrill Falls, Wisconsin to Albert and Emma Neitzel. She met and married the love of her life, John Siebert, Jr. on October 11, 1951 in International Falls, Minnesota. Together they owned the Royal Motel in Madison for approximately 20 years. They lived in Marshall, Wisconsin for approximately 23 years. She will be missed by her three daughters, Janice Waldsmith of Marshall; Sandra (Mark) Smith of Helenville, Wisconsin; Patricia Jones of Marshall, Wisconsin; her three sisters, Lois (Jack) Mausolf; Donna (Perry) Clark; and Margaret (Stanley) Kroeger; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many relatives and friends. Leona is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons-in-law, Dale Jones and Michael Crary; her brother Edwin & wife, Judi Neitzel Visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 from 10:00 until 11:00 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marshall, Wisconsin. A service will follow at 11:00 am with the Rev. Arthur Faught officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Madison, Wisconsin. The family would like to express their thanks for the loving care that Leona received at Kindred Hearts, Cottage Grove, Wisconsin and Columbus Health and Rehab Center in Columbus, Wisconsin.
