GROSSMAN, LOREN C. MARSHALL Loren C. Grossman, age 64, passed away on Saturday August 7, 2010 at his home, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 20, 1946 in Columbus the son of Clarence and Evelyn (Schlueter) Grossman. On July 27, 2007 he married the former Mary Tanner in Marshall. Loren had retired from C. L. Swanson in Madison, after more than 42 years. He was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Marshall, Marshall Lions Club and a retired member of the Marshall Fire Department. Loren enjoyed Marshall Home Talent Baseball, going to his grandchildrens sporting events, playing cards, going out to eat with friends and family and driving his Mustang convertible. Survivors include his wife Mary, his children Tessie Andraski of Milwaukee, Terry Grossman of Marshall and Todd (Laura) Grossman of Marshall, step children Mindy (Larry) Leistikow and Troy Loga both of Marshall, grandchildren Alexander, Jordan, Kaylin, Kale, Kobe, Karter, Skyler, Justin, Alex and Reece. Brothers and sisters Charles (Leone) Grossman of Sun Prairie, Donna (Harvey) Heiman of Marshall, Roger Grossman of Waterloo, Karen (Layne) Herried of Marshall and Bonnie (Tom) Murphy of Marshall, brothers in law Jerry Weikert of Marshall and Melvin Heiman of Florida, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters Sharon Heiman, Marlene Weikert and Carolyn Grossman and 1 brother Dale Grossman. . Funeral services will be on Wednesday August 11, 2010 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Marshall with Pastor Mark Schoeneck officiating. Burial will be in Medina Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 PM to 8 PM at the church and on Wednesday after 10 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Marshall Lions Club or the Marshall Fire Department, would be appreciated. Hart-Vick Funeral Home of Marshall is serving the family.
