Lucille Wells

WELLS, LUCILLE M. WATERLOO   Lucille M. Wells, age 91, passed away on Thursday October 13, 2016 at the Marquardt Health Center.  Lucy was born on May 14, 1925 in Madison, the daughter of Ethelbert and Teresa (Koch) Meyer. Lucy married Raymond J. Wells on August 28, 1946 and they shared 68 years together, before Ray passed away on November 20, 2014. They were lifelong dairy farmers, mainly in the Waterloo area. She was a member of Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph's. She was a devout follower of Christ and a loving wife and mother. She will be missed by all who knew her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph's in Waterloo with Father Jorge Miramontes celebrating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to the time of Mass at the church. Hart-Vick Funeral Home of Marshall, is serving the family. Lucy is survived by her children Donna (Myron) Wilcox, John (Shelley), Ralph (Patricia), Ronald (Patricia), Michael (Joyce), Daniel (Donna), Jean Wells and Julie (David) Ellingson, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter and three brothers Ralph (Lila), Dan (Ann) and Joe (Bonnie) Meyer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is further preceded in death by her parents and a sister Phyllis Heinz.
