LENZ, MAE  M. WATERLOO    Mae M. Lenz, age 87, passed away on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at her home. Mae Mary Fren tzel was born on May 5, 1929 in the Town of York, Dane County, the daughter of Paul and Meta (Stelse) Frentzel. On June 15, 1946 she married Eugene Lloyd Lenz in Marshall and he preceded her in death on July 24, 2002. Mae had been employed at the former Weyenberg Shoe Factory for 49 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshall. Mae loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed playing euchre when they got together for holidays. She enjoyed passing the time playing solitaire. In her younger years, Mae fought for many elder care causes, all the way to the State Legislature. Mae is survived by her children Barbara Jean Carter, Bonnie Marie (Richard) Wolff and Brenda Mae (James) Marshall, her grandchildren Andrew James Haseleu, Cory Gene Haseleu, Kelly Marie Stone, Craig Eugene Wolff, Amanda Mae Marshall, Chris Earl Marshall and Emily Adeline Marshall, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, her siblings Bette Gerstner, Donna (Don) Fredrick and Russell (Phyllis) Frentzel, she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is further preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and six sisters. Funeral services will be on Monday July 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshall with Pastor Ronald Mach officiating. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery in the Town of Portland. Family and friends may call on Monday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 Am at the church. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
