Mark E. Engstler, 55 of Fountain City, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 1, 2023.

Mark was born February 16, 1968, in La Crosse, WI, the son of Gerald and Lois (Weise) Engstler of Hokah, MN. Mark graduated from La Crescent High School and later from Winona State University, both of Minnesota.  Mark worked in the meat department for Gorman-Thompson Foods at Market Foods, Country Market and lastly at Midtown Foods for over 30 years. Mark will be remembered for his love of music, NASCAR racing, and watching the Tour de France. He was happiest when he was with his family or eating his favorite food, chocolate.

He is survived by his wife Tammy, son Simon, daughter Lillyann (Briar Putz) Engstler, sisters Sue and Nancy, and brothers Al, Greg, and Tim. He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Lois Engstler.

A service to celebrate Mark’s life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Grace Presbyterian Church in Winona, Minnesota with Rev. Rachel Rosendahl presiding. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:30am until the time of service.
