Nicholas James Jozefowski, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday March 29, 2023.
He was born on January 30, 1981, to James Jozefowski and Marion Brown. He met his sweetheart April Schaaf on November 5, 2010, in Madison, WI and they married in Dousman, Wisconsin on June 11, 2017. Nicholas enjoyed volunteering in his community in any way that he could, and was a jack of all trades. He was an active member of the Free Masons, something he held close to his heart and Nicholas achieved his 32nd Degree Scottish Rite. He worked in the automotive and trades the majority of his life. Nicholas had a variety of hobbies that included cooking, going for ATV and snowmobile rides, grilling/smoking meats, building things, and tinkering in the shop. He had a huge love for animals and loved cuddling his dog, Ian.
Nicholas is survived by: his wife April; brother Richard (Jana); sister Alicia; father James (Nancy); mother Marion (Gregory) Brown; maternal grandmother Mary Ann Schuster and paternal grandmother Mary Jozefowski; step-siblings Christopher Brown (Tricia), and Allison Brown; nieces and nephews Mickayla Delack, Hayden Delack, Riley Cutler, Kathryn Cutler, and Oliver Cutler; aunts and uncles Dave (Mary), Dan (Bridget), Frank (Judy), Mark (Jess), Gail Jozefowski, Lucy (Scott) King, Ann (Randy) Davis, Steven (Renee) Schuster, and Terry (Deananne) Schuster; Father-in-Law and Mother-in-law Henry and Myrna Schaaf; brothers and sisters-in-laws Jerry (Kay) Schaaf, Angie (Dan) Cutler, and Terrence (Lance Coss) Schaaf. Nicholas is also survived by a number of other relatives and many friends.
He is preceded in death by: his cousin Peter Erickson; uncle Peter Jozefowski; grandfather Bruno Jozefowski, grandfather Russell Schuster, and other relatives.
A Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home of Watertown with Robert Johnson presiding. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held on June, 11 2023 at Comfort Suites in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin.
