Paul Dunn

Paul A. Dunn, age 97 of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Marquardt Health Center. Paul was born on February 18, 1921, in Easton in Adams County, WI, to Ira and Nina Dunn. He graduated from Waukesha High School and married Florence Schafer on April 10, 1943, in Waukesha. They were happily married for 67 years, until her death on February 13, 2011. Paul served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1942-1946 and again in the Korean War from 1952-1952. He then spent the next 43 years in banking, the last 18 years as president of Greenwood State Bank in Lake Mills. In his retirement, Paul enjoyed golfing, traveling, woodworking and woodcarving. Paul will be missed by his three sons; Gordon (Jeannine) of Altoona, IA, Ken of Los Angeles, CA and Dan (Kathy) of Bella Vista, AR, two grandchildren; Jeremy (Julie) Dunn of Portland, OR and Amanda Dunn of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by his sister Doris Portz of Spring Green, his brother Tom of San Jose, CA and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death my his wife, Florence, a sister Harriet Arnold and a brother Ben Dunn. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on TUESDAY, MAY 8th, 2018 at Marquardt Manor Chapel.
