Philip Mehling

MEHLING,  PHILIP  J.  WATERTOWN   Philip J. Mehling, age 59, passed away suddenly and peacefully on Tuesday March 8, 2016, at his home.  A gathering time for family and friends will be on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A family service will be held. Online condolences may be left at svfuneralhome.com.   Philip J. Mehling was born in Oconomowoc on November 6, 1956, the son of Robert and Eunice (Cull) Mehling. On February 23, 1980, he married Dolores Vick in Waukesha. Phil had been employed by United Liquid Waste Service in Clyman and was a member of the NRA. Phil was a simple kind of man, when he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, being outside and watching the Packers or NASCAR.  Phil is survived by his wife Dee, their children Crystal (Jake) Higgins, Catherine Mehling and Jessica (Kelly) Brandt and grandchildren Celeste and Ashlyn Higgins. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Chuck Mehling, Pat (Vickie) Mehling, Paul (Barb) Mehling, Leo (Eiko) Mehling, Jim (Sue) Mehling, Mark (Sharon) Mehling, Jerry (Sandy) Mehling, Judy Tabor, Eileen Pape and Donna (Bob) Sizer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Phil is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Mike and a sister Sharon.
