Phillip C. Decker, 84 of Watertown, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025, at Bedrock Healthcare Center of Watertown.
Phil was born on June 20, 1940, in Deckerville, MI, the son of Clifton and Ann (Singler) Decker. He attended school in the area, and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force. On September 16, 1967, Phil was united in marriage with Vicki Cowley in Deckerville and the couple had three children and shared 57 happy years of marriage. Phil worked as a supervisor at Aunt Nellies and later as a truck driver for Sporel. He enjoyed traveling for his work, and would often take the scenic route. In his free time, Phil enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going bowling. He will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.
Phil is survived by: his loving wife Vicki Decker; children David Decker, Dean Decker, and Kari (Mike) Potter; grandchildren Aidan Potter, Chace Potter, Kade Potter, and MacKenzie Decker; sister Diane (Larry) Guigar; 8 nieces; and 4 nephews. Phil is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.
Phil is preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church of Watertown with Rev. Dr. Robert Loggans presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
