Phyllis Albrecht

MARSHALL,   Phyllis L. Albrecht, age 87, passed away on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. The former Phyllis L. Schroeder was born on October 26, 1926, the daughter of Henry and Meta (Kleinsteiber) Schroeder. She met Marvin Albrecht at Flynn Hall in Cottage Grove in 1944 and married him three months later on November 18, 1944.  Phyllis and Marvin farmed together for over 50 years in Marshall.  She was devoted to her family and took pride in caring for them. She is survived by her husband, Marvin; daughter, Sue (Tim) Eberle; grandchildren, Olivia, Jeremy, Timothy, Stephanie, Christopher and Cody; 6 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Danny and great-granddaughter, Martina. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Marshall United Methodist Church 318 William St., Marshall, with Pastor Paul Anderson of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.  A visitation will be held at church on Friday from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
