TRIMBORN, SR., ROBERT A. WATERTOWN Robert A. Trimborn, Sr. age 73, passed away on Monday July 26, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 7 PM at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home And Cremation Service with Father Brian Wilk of St. Henry Catholic Church officiating. Family burial will be in St. Henry Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of ones choice, would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made at watertownwifuneralhome.com. Bob was born on January 31, 1937 in Barnesville, MN, the son of Anton and Laura Helen (Hollweck) Trimborn. He served in the US Navy in Iceland. On December 4, 1985 he married the former Ida McDonald in Jefferson. He had been employed by Kopplin Excavating and he had been an owner/operator over the road truck driver. He was a member of the Watertown Moose Lodge, the Johnson Creek American Legion Post and he was involved in numerous outdoor sport and recreational organizations. Bob was an avid stump fiddler. Survivors include his wife Ida, his children Bonnie (Al) Gudmundson, Steven Trimborn, Scott (Marci) Trimborn, Kathy (Tim) Unertl and Robert (Jenny) Trimborn, Jr., his stepchildren Michael (Gloria) McDonald, David (Marie) McDonald, Jill (Rob) Anderson, Theresa McDonald, Patricia McDonald and Tony (Alicia) McDonald, 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a half brother Howard (Delores) Trimborn, also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a great grandson Evan Glynn, his parents, a brother John Jack Trimborn and a sister Nancy Gaugert.
