Timothy Bryant Mercer, 67 from Watertown, Wisconsin, passed away on October 3rd, 2024.
Tim was born in Merced, California on December 24, 1956 the son of Joe Kenneth (Kenny) Mercer and Marjorie (Gentry) Mercer. He graduated from Beyer High School in Modesto, California.
Tim was everyone’s favorite cook at Mercer T’s Bar and Grill that him and his wife, Sue have owned for over 37 years together. Outside of his passion for cooking, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, painting his own fishing lures, various dart and pool leagues, and watching the history channel. He always knew so many different facts (some fiction) and stories that he loved sharing with everyone. He was the biggest kid at heart always teasing people, giving them nicknames or rolling around on the floor being the lava monster.
Tim is survived by: his wife Susan Schmidt, his children; Timothy (Sarah) Mercer, Alexandra (Matthew) Gillingham, Michael (Kayleen Toeller) Mercer and his 7 grandchildren: Landon, Grant, Mia, Wren, Jack, Lily, and Bronson. Tim is also survived by his mother Marge, mother-in-law Betty Hiley-Dietz, his sisters Trina (Michael) Adkins and Traci Ventura, his brother Terry (Terese) Mercer along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Kenny and sisters Twana and Tammy.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, November 2nd starting at 2pm at the Clyman Village Park.
