PATCHETT, WAYNE A. WATERTOWN Wayne A. Patchett, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 28, 2012 at Watertown Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be on Saturday December 1, 2012 at 2 PM at River City Church 21 Pawnee Street with Pastor Jared Furnish officiating. Family and friends may call on Saturday from Noon to 2 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family or River City Church would be appreciated. Online condolences may be left at watertownwifuneralhome.com. Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Services is serving the family. Wayne was born in Louisville, KY on August 6, 1951, the son of Wayne and Esther (Stultz) Patchett. On August 26, 2000 he married Barbara Peirick in Las Vegas. Wayne worked most of his life as a truck driver with his last job delivering meals to Head Start sites in Corpus Christi, TX. Wayne stopped working in 2010 due to disabilities. He lived in Texas for 11 years and loved the warm weather. He moved to Watertown in 2011 to help care for his mother-in-law, Arlene Peirick. He loved to volunteer at his church, River City Church. Wayne was especially fond of bald eagles. Wayne is survived by his wife of 12 years, Barbara; four sons Wayne (Angie) and Matthew (Jodee) of Toledo, OH; Jamie of Oxford, OH and Aaron of Nicholasville, KY; a step daughter Kelly Munguia of Austin, TX; seven grandchildren; sisters in law Deborah Patchett of Smyrna, DE and Susan (Kevin) Fuhrman of Bloomington, IL; mother in law Arlene Peirick and former wife Peggy Fredrickson of MO. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Donald "Slim" Patchett and his father in law William Peirick.
