Willam Koeppler

WATERTOWN William Dennis "Bill" Koeppler, age 76, passed away on July 16, 2013, surrounded by his family. Bill was born on June 6, 1937 to Walter and Audria (Eckert) Koeppler. He graduated from Johnson Creek High School in 1956. Bill married Elaine Fortmann on May 23, 1959. Bill grew up working on the family farm and carried his love of farming into his adult life as a cattle dealer. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards and visiting Amish communities with his childhood friend Ludwig Porsky. Bill is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elaine, their five daughters, Carol (Dale) Freson, Ida (Lenny) Soto, Gail (Paul) Dishneau, Dawn (Doug) Blazier and Marie (Scott Riedner) Rennhack, 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a brother David and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister in law Luella. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 6:00 pm at Concord United Methodist Church with Pastor Bonnie Bell officiating. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 pm till 6:00 pm at the church.
