Willard Ninmann

April 29, 1935 — November 8, 2012

Willard "Willie" Ninmann, age 77 passed away on 11-8-12 at home surrounded by his loving family. Willard was born on April 29, 1935 in the town of Clyman to Paul and Mabel (Kaul) Ninmann. Willard married Mary Jane Schuett on May 15, 1954. Willard was always a hard working person, even working up to 3 jobs to raise his seven children. Worked for Redigas, owned and operated Ninmann's Heating and Cooling, worked at Bethesda Lutheran Homes in Maintenance and then for the Watertown School District in the Maintenance department at Riverside Junior High School until he retired. Willard never really retired; he was the helper of his son's business, Dale's Service, up until the end. For anyone who knew "Willie" he was always on the go, he was the master plumber, the wood man, the heating man or anything else that would need fixing he would fix. He was a hard working man who would do anything for anyone. Willie's pride and joy was his backyard pool and watching the family enjoy the summers. "Willie's Water World" will always be a memory for countless members of the family, relatives and friends of the family. He found enjoyment in sitting in the back porch watching the swimmers, watching western movies and playing polka music. He is survived by his loving wife and seven children; Dale Ninmann (Nancy), Jerry Ninmann, Jane Pieper (Mark), Cindy Tonn (Daryl), Allen Ninmann (Jane), Theresa Heese (Jim), and Lisa Kressin (Paul). He is also survived by 14 loving grandchildren; Kim Ninmann, Carrie Homme (Frank), Deanna Zubke (Nick), Elizabeth Bernabei (Chad), Vanessa Martin (Ryan), Michael Pieper (Kim), Sheena Field (Chris), Derek Tonn, Olivia and Madeline Ninmann, Maggie and Melanie Heese, Shawn and Corissa Kressin, and 11 great grandchildren. Willard came from a large family of 16 children and is survived by 5 sisters; Lucille Moke, Ethel Leitzke, Jeanette Kubly, Hazel Kuepfer, Arlene Schuett, and 3 brothers; Ted Ninmann, Larry Ninmann, Art Ninmann, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers and sisters, and one grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at St. Henry's Catholic Church, Watertown at 12:00 pm with Monsignor Daniel Ganshert officiating.
