William Langer

William "Bill" C. Langer, 65, Sun Prairie, died on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 18, 1951, the son of the late Merlin and Marcella (Hart) Langer. He was a graduate of the Sun Prairie High School and later earned his Business degree at UW-Whitewater. Bill worked for many years as a dispatcher for Roehl Trucking. After his mother's death he returned to his family home in Sun Prairie. He was an avid sports fan and knew the names of most professional basketball, baseball, and football players, golfers, and NASCAR drivers. Bill was a man with a large laugh and great sense of humor. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Marshall. Thank you to the friends who helped to make Bill's life easier and to the first responders who brought comfort during a difficult time.
