William W. Whitley

William W. Whitley II, 78 of Watertown, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Edgerton Hospital.

Bill was born on September 6, 1946, the son of William and Helen (Sudak) Whitley.

On December 12, 1987, Bill was united in marriage with Diane Pfister in St. Thomas, USVI and the two shared many cherished years together in Virginia, Florida, and Wisconsin.

As a veteran of the US Air Force, Bill served his country with honor and integrity. After his military career, he practiced pharmacy for 33 years, helping patients get the comfort and treatment they needed. He also trained to be a recreational aerobatic pilot for simply the pure joy it brought him and was an avid sports enthusiast.

Bill is survived by: his loving wife Diane; five children Kimberly (John) Buerkley, Andrea (Campbell) Ferguson, Lee (Bridget) Whitley, Wyatt Whitley, and Brenna Whitley; grandchildren Taylor (Mallory), Sierra, Campbell, and Holden; great grandchildren Tilly and Graham; sister Janice (Steve) Holloway; siblings-in-law Jill (Tom) Paulsen, John (Kelly) Pfister, Carla (Bill Williams) Walsh, and Tess Pfister; and two faithful canine companions Beau and Julie. Bill is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, brother Greg Whitley, mother and father-in-law Ralph and Jacqueline Pfister, and brother-in-law Dave Pfister.

No formal services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
